Bad Bunny Announces Unique Puerto Rico Residency Tour in 2025

In an exciting development for music fans worldwide, Bad Bunny, the Grammy-winning reggaeton and Latin trap artist, has announced his highly anticipated 2025 tour. Instead of a traditional world tour, Bad Bunny will host a unique residency in his home country, Puerto Rico.

'No Me Quiero Ir De Aquí' Residency

The residency, aptly titled 'No Me Quiero Ir De Aquí' (I Do Not Want To Leave Here), will feature 21 shows at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot, known as "El Choli". This venue is the largest indoor entertainment arena on the island, accommodating over 18,000 fans per show.

The residency will kick off on July 11, 2025, and run every weekend (Friday through Sunday) until August 24, 2025. The first nine shows, from July 11 to July 27, will be exclusively for Puerto Rico residents, with tickets available for in-person purchase starting January 15, 2025.

A Chance for Real Fans

Bad Bunny has implemented a unique process to ensure that tickets go to real fans. For the remaining shows, fans must register for a pre-sale, which involves completing a quiz based on Bad Bunny's music. This approach is designed to give dedicated fans a better chance at securing tickets.

This announcement comes hot on the heels of the release of Bad Bunny's sixth studio album, 'Debí Tirar Más Fotos' (I Should Have Taken More Photos). Released last week, the album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Streaming Albums chart and No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, making it the artist's seventh top-10-charting LP. The album features a mix of traditional Puerto Rican sounds like plena and jíbara, and collaborations with local artists such as Chuwi, Dei V, Omar Courtz, Pleneros de la Cresta, and RaiNao.
